Updated URL's for SagePay form

Hi,

I have a previous client who is running SS version ss7-200907 and has just noticed that Protx is no longer working. Obviously the most sensible thing to do would be to do a complete upgrade, but they don't seem to want to do that.

I know there is a diy fix here for SagePay Server but is there something similar for SagePay form?

Alternatively, am I safe to download the latest version of SS and replace the entire checkoutforms directory? The only other payment method they accept is cheque.

I'm having a look at this as a goodwill gesture so I'm trying not to get drawn into anything else overly complicated.

Many thanks

I would not like to speculate on the best solution until we know a little more of the problem.

Is there an error message anywhere? What happens when a shopper tries to get to sagepay?

When the customer click on the payment option after selecting credit card, the site attempts to redirect them to https://ukvps.protx.com/vps2form/submit.asp and they get the message "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname"

Thanks

Barry

From within phpmyadmin you can run the following SQL which should update the URLS.

Note: Please back up payment_methods table first.

Code:

UPDATE payment_methods SET ppname='SAGE Pay Form (Protx)', pptesturl='https://test.sagepay.com/gateway/service/vspform-register.vsp', ppliveurl='https://live.sagepay.com/gateway/service/vspform-register.vsp' WHERE ppid='3'

Thank you very much. That worked perfectly.
